A distinct companion to the original English Smell Words, this edition gathers 384 words translated and adapted for French. Familiar olfactory descriptors sit alongside words drawn from texture, atmosphere, light, and sensory experience, offering practical and poetic ways to describe what we smell.
The edition was developed in collaboration with Carole Planche, a translator based near Grasse who has worked in the fragrance field for more than 25 years. New full-color photography accompanies the text throughout.
Each book includes three scent strips, each misted with a limited-edition perfume inspired by our travels in France.
